Our arena is a 16.000 m2 / 8.524 seat capacity sports hall, which was built for the World Men Handball Championship in 2015. The main goal, however, was always a multipurpose arena for all kinds of sports, especially ice skating and ice hockey.
We were glad finding a reliable partner with the necessary know-how and high quality materials for this really challenging project, as our new ice rink had not only to meet the really strict IIHF regulations but also our tough requirements: Demounting the existing sport surface and build up the ice rink in less than 48 hours. Ice Business took the challenge successfully, achieving great results and meeting the deadline.

Unsere Geschichte reicht zurück bis ins Jahr 1949, als mein Großvater Hermann Scherrieble in Regensburg die Firma Walhalla Kühlung gründete. Als Pioniere der Eisbahntechnik etablierten wir uns 1992 in der Eisbahnindustrie mit dem Bau der ersten Outdoor-Kunsteisbahn in Zermatt, Schweiz. Die Entscheidung, sich auf den Bau von mobilen und permanenten Eisbahnen zu fokussieren, wurde dann 2000 getroffen und Ice Business gegründet.
Seitdem haben wir schon unzählbar viele Menschen begeistert mit unseren erfolgreich umgesetzten individuellen Konzepten und Eis-Projekten unterschiedlichster Arten. Weltweit.
Auch die Umwelt hatten wir dabei stets im Blick. So entwickelten wir die Technik kontinuierlich weiter und sind stolz, heute mit automatisierter und smarter online Steuerung eine einzigartige Energieeffizienz unserer Bahnen zu erzielen.
